Walking routes
Visitors to An Creagán Visitor Centre can avail of a series of short to medium distance, scenic walking routes, which incorporate visits to some of the area's archaeological sites.

Short distance walking routes
Distance: 2 miles approximately

  • Creggan School walk
  • Creggan Wood walk
  • Crockmacann walk (incorporating traditional clachan settlements)

Medium distance walking routes
Distance: 6 - 10 miles

  • The Creggandevesky trail (includes visit to Creggandevesky Court Tomb)
  • The Sultin Trail (includes visit to Cregganconroe Court Tomb)
  • The Cashel Trailn (incorporates Creggan Wood, the Cashel Rock, Loughmacrory Wedge Tomb and a prehistoric lough.)
  • The Aghascrebagh Trail (includes visits to Aghascrebagh Ogham Stone and Standing Stone and to Dun Ruadh Ring Cairn.)

Forest/River Walk
The walk leaves An Creagán and makes its way through the forest and along the Glashagh Burn and back to the centre. Length 5.5 Km
